  Please summarize article(s) and place citation to article in your post. “In 2004, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) identified the need for nurses with advanced degrees to provide leadership and advanced nursing care to improve the quality of care in clinical settings and to help meet the shortage of nursing faculty” (Beeber, et. al., 2019). Many people think that advanced practice nurses should be studying to get a doctorate degree versus a master’s degree. If nurses were required to go for their doctorate degree would we have enough advanced practice nurses in the field? A doctorate degree takes longer to get and with longer schooling that increases the cost as well. Because people are disagreeing on this matter, this has increased the research and questions they have about what the DNP is and does
