 Working with multi-disciplinary teams presented different challenges and limitations I was not prepared to handle before this course. For instance, referring clients to other therapists based on their preferences, gender, age, language barrier, and further treatment required proper assessmentand documentation to ensure continuity of care. Moving forward, I will be an integral part of my team, including triage of the patients, developing the plan of care with the assistance of a preceptor, and educating patients and their families on the significance and risks of the selected treatment plans. Learning the MSN essentials has reinforced my nurse practitioner responsibilities in coordinating and maintaining patient-centered care while collaborating with other healthcare providers and team members.The MSN essentials IV has improved my confidence and empowered me to create a therapeutic environment for sharing knowledge and trusting relationships. Through the course, I have learned how to integrate theory, clinical judgment, evidence, interpersonal perspectives, andresearch to improve health outcomes for different patients. Additionally, I have learned how nursing plays a role in ethical practice and research advocacy. The program also empowers and enables me to participate in change management and processes aimed at applying evidence-based practice guidelines to improve practice and the care environment. Moreover, I have studieddifferent literature from nursing databases describing the nursing practice, enabling me to critique new evidence and generate meaningful conclusions. My preceptor had sufficient knowledge and provided guidance in areas where I faced difficulties. She also allowed me to perform follow-ups with clients after being discharged from the facility
