My area of study is located in Dallas Texas area and the focal point is the Woodrow Wilson High School (100 S Glasgow Dr, Dallas, TX 75214).It is located in the Lakewood neighborhood of east Dallas, bounded by Covington Lane in the North, on the east by South Glassgow Drive, on the south by Reiger Avenue and on the west by Paulus avenue. Randal Park is located towards the east of Woodrow Wilson high School .The area is also known as Dallas Independent School District. It is adjacent to White Rock Lake .The school is located in the Lakewood neighborhood of east Dallas having the pin code 75214

? Housing and Zoning
What is the age of the houses? Describe the type of construction material, appearance, and general condition. Do you see single family housing? Multi-family housing?
The majority of the houses were constructed in 1950s to 1970s   with a gradual decline in number through the ages. The type of construction material are most concrete, some were of wood along with others with variously decorated structures of glass,, small lawn areas in front. Majority of the houses were well maintained and well colored, thee maximum homes were with one bedroom and only a very few were studio apartments .It has however many impressive cottages and estates .the maximum households were single family as I found one or two cars in the parking. I did not find any multi housing family

? Common Meeting Places
Where do people in the neighborhood hangout? Who hangs out there and what hours of the day?
Majority of the people hang out in several places like Patio of the Lakewood landing, Knox Henderson and several other clubs in the areas. The majority if the people of hangs out in the clubs are form 18- 60 years of age typically in the evening say form 6.00 Pm onwards

Is this a thriving community, or does it look “run down?” Is there new or ongoing construction? Are there any signs of businesses and industries coming to the area? Are buildings, roadways, and public area clean and well–kept?   Do you see trash or graffiti?
