He didn’t let anyone come along his way. Despitediscrimination, bullying, and abusive and traumatic experiences, he kept on publishing books toeducate Filipinos. Pepe or Dr. Jose Rizal demonstrates how much courage a Filipino can have togain the freedom to end oppression. He did not fight using a sword or gun. No blood was shedduring his battle with the Spaniards yet his words are keen enough to revenge and awakenFilipino minds. He stood still until the day of execution. Jose Rizal experienced a lot of painfulexperiences together with his family. His brother, Paciano, was tortured. His father was executedand died in prison. His mother was accused of something she didn’t do. He lost Leonor and metJosephine Bracken but their child died during the delivery. In the end, Rizal succeeded to achievehis goal.
