	Roger Revelle, who was Al Gore’s college professor, was the first person to begin the measuring of carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere in the year 1957.
2)	Why do the carbon dioxide levels vary seasonally?
	When the North hemisphere tilts towards the sun during the summer and spring, most of the plant leaves come out, breathe in carbon dioxide, which reduces its levels. When the Northern hemisphere id tilted away from the sun, leaves fall and exhale the carbon dioxide.
3)	How have the carbon dioxide levels affected the earth? Give three examples.
	 Increase in the level of carbon dioxide results to trapping of more sunrays, and results global warming, which has resulted in drying of water bodies and Snow Mountains. Examples are the reduction of snow in Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa, the retreating of Columbia Glacier in Alaska and the drying of Rhone Glacier in Switzerland.

	The core drills of glacial ice reveals that the level of carbon dioxide has increased in the atmosphere as compared to when the core ice was formed.

	During the summer 2005 in July, hurricane Emily happened followed by hurricane Dennis in Florida, then hurricane Katrina happened in Florida on August 26. The intensity of the hurricane caused a lot of damage as the hurricane went over warm water areas where it gained velocity.

	Global warming leads to a high increase in the level of precipitation. This is because the evaporation of the oceans puts more water in the atmosphere and when the storm come, a lot of it falls down, and becomes a significant cause of floods,

	The Arctic region is referred to as “a canary in a coal mine'', as it is highly exposed to the negative impacts of global warming, which are as a result of the thawing of the permafrost.
8) What have been the results of the seasonal variations resulting from global warming? 	Seasonal variations that result from global warming have resulted in disruption of the natural life setting. An example is the study of the migratory birds in Thailand’s, which used to hatch at the same time as the caterpillars. Global warming has made the hatching of caterpillars faster and affected the birds’ life.

	This is because the earth redistributes heat from the equator to the poles, using the different ocean currents. Increase of heat at a rate of 5% at the equator translates to an increase of heat at a rate of 12% at the poles

	Population- increase in population is resulting in depletion of earth resources Scientific and technological revolution- this is requiring the use of high energy

	This is because the facts that have been discovered by the scientific findings presented in the movie are inconvenient for companies and nations that highly involved in environment pollution. In the past, scientists have been ridiculed, prosecuted and deprived their employment as they seek to publicize results of their findings concerning global warming.

Opinion on Global Warming and the Presentation
	Global warming has highly contributed to the change in the environment in a manner that might end up making in inhabitable for human beings. It is evident that carbon dioxide emissions from industries have resulted in the trapping of Sunrays, which in turn result in high temperature resulting in drying of water sources. This presentation elaborates the effects and presents tangible evidence of the change in climate because of global warming. It is an informative and provoking piece that calls for reduction of carbon dioxide emission even at a personal level.
